Fast Food?

Finally the answer to the question that everyone has been wanting to hear.

"Can I eat fast food cheeseburgers on this diet?"

"Yes!!!"

Quite simply the answer is a resounding YES!!! I ate at fast food burger joints plenty of times while doing this diet especially for lunches. I tried to keep precooked burgers on hand and I would bring them with me to work for lunch and pop them in the microwave but... on the occasion when I forgot to pack my lunch or when I did not have them prepared and on hand then I would simply run out to my favorite fast food burger joint.

In the beginning I would just toss the buns out but then I realized that most places are more than happy to simply give us low-carb dieters a bunless burger in a container or box. And although I am not trying to promote anyone here, the fact is that I ate many a meal at Wendy's on this diet both during Induction and during Redux! I would simply order a burger without the bun, in fact I usually ordered a Triple with Cheese or a Triple Baconator! During induction I would completely forgo the toppings and during redux I would eat the works (i.e. lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle). sometimes during redux I would get a combo meal with a salad in place of the fries and a diet coke. People were absolutely shocked that I was losing weight by doing this! In fact a friend of mine constantly joked that I was the Jared of Wendy's! Well, if I am then unfortunately I am the unpaid and unsubsidized version of Jared. LOL!

So the answer is Yes! Yes, you can eat fast food burgers during this diet as long as they are 100% real beef and contrary to popular belief most places do serve quality 100% pure beef patties.
